It is almost the end of February and in the northern hemisphere, the spring is almost around the corner. In Bulgaria, we celebrate the coming of spring on March 1st by giving each other martenitsas. This is what this game is all about. And my intention in making it entirely in English was to tell the story of this tradition to people who wouldn't know about it.

Then why add a Bulgarian translation? I recently met with members of the Bulgarian community here in Australia, volunteers, teachers, mothers. They told me how they are always in the search of interactive ways to teach our beautiful Bulgarian traditions to small children, who are born in Australia to Bulgarian parents. And for this, that game would be useful, but only if it is in Bulgarian too.

Version 2.0 includes the following features:

• Bulgarian translation available on pressing L in any menu
• Survival mode with the martenitsa getting quicker as it gets longer
• Special secrets to collect in order to unlock the survival mode
• Some display fixes

The survival mode was something I wanted to do, so I created different assets for secrets to discover in each level.  This gave me more opportunities to play with graphics and sound.

Overall I consider the game complete now with version 2.0. I plan to make a browser version of it, stripped from complicated save logic and more accessible for everyone.
